Factoring Workshop for Grades 11 & 12
Factoring is a key component of Grades 11 & 12 math, and students without a solid understanding will find these courses very challenging.
This 3 hour workshop keeps the focus laser tight on the skills and concepts you need to excel. Contact us to register.

Mock Final Exams are Saturday, January 21st!
Our mock exams are designed to challenge students and set their expectations for the real thing. For most high school students, this is their first experience writing finals. A practice exam is a smart choice not only to identify any problem areas, but to help prepare mentally. There are 5 exams available:
Grade 9: Math and Science
Grade 10: Math and Science
Grade 11: Math
They are proctored, 2 hour exams in a group setting, just like the real thing. Exams will be marked quickly, giving students time to review any trouble spots.
The exams are being held Saturday, January 21st, with 11:00am and 3:00pm sittings available. If you want to take more than one practice exam, we are happy to book one exam in each sitting. The cost for each exam is $105.00.

Join us for one of our Getting Ready for Math boot camps, for those entering Grade 9 or 10. Feel confident and prepared when school starts.
These courses are specifically designed to review and reinforce key topics from last year, and introduce key concepts for the coming year. Prime yourself for success! We know where students get stuck and how to unstick them.
Getting Ready for Grade 9 Math: August 22nd & 23rd, 2022, 9:30 - 12:30
Getting Ready for Grade 10 Math: August 24th & 25th, 2022, 9:30 - 12:30.
The cost of each course is $195, with a $50 deposit required to secure your spot. Space is limited, contact us today!
Grade 11 Math Prep!
Our Grade 11 prep course keeps the focus laser tight on the skills and concepts you need to excel once class begins. Best of all? It is only 3 hours long!
Getting Ready for Grade 11 Math is being held Wednesday, August 24th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
The three hour Grade 11 math prep cost is $110.
Mock Final Exams are June 11th!
Mock final exams are BACK! We are offering mock exams for Grade 9 math, Grade 9 science, Grade 10 math and Grade 10 science.
These are proctored, 90 minute exams in a group setting, just like the real thing. The cost for the exam is $75.00.
The exams are Saturday, June 11th at 11am in person at The Study Studio
Mask Policy Update
Ontario has dropped the mask mandate for most indoor establishments effective Monday, March 21st.
We recognize that this decision may be uncomfortable and rushed for some of our tutors and families, and as such we will continue to require masks to be worn by everyone inside The Study Studio for the time being.
The safety and comfort of all our families remains a top priority for us and over the coming weeks we will be reevaluating the restrictions that have been in place. We have been doing this for the duration of the pandemic, but this time we are excited to be looking at lifting restrictions rather than adding them!
